Daffodils huddled together for warmth in this frozen month of March

Daffodils huddled together for warmth in this frozen month of March

I found out my grandmother’s name. It’s Christianna Benjamin nee Morgan. During my meditation I set the intention to connect with her and to be given a sign that I was connected. I had a tickling around my third eye and on the left side of my neck.

I saw a thimble, and later thread and a needle. Was she a good seamstress? Did I hear that somewhere? Then I had the thought of stitching together a patchwork quilt.

I dropped in and out of nothingness, but in between I thought about my dream from the night before in which I was trying to hide from a previous boss. I’d been trying to dodge him for ages hiding in all kinds of places before suddenly deciding that I’d done nothing wrong and, despite all the people who’d been trying to hide and protect me, I came out openly and challenged him. He didn’t pursue the issues and I realised that I needn’t have hidden for so long.

In the same dream I needed the toilet and had to go a long way to find it, (even though I was convinced that there was one closer). A woman snuck in before me, but fortunately there was more than one cubicle. The wall was flat, and the toilet bowl emerged from it and looked a little flimsy as it had no solid base attaching it to the floor. It had un-flushed poo in. I needed to do a poo but was conscious of people in the next cubicle so held on to it, just did a wee while pondering the oddness of the toilet.

Somebody once told me that poo in dreams is related to money. Does this dream mean that I found some (in the bowl) but was too embarrassed to add mine to it? Do you know anything about poo in dreams?

And what about the thimble and the patchwork quilt? I was wondering if it could mean that I’m to pull together all the different things that I’m learning into one. Maybe create something new and different from all the bits. Any thoughts?

And finally, I got the thought that it would be a good idea to write about my Family Constellation experiences.

When I was researching Shamanism I found people’s personal experiences really helpful. Constellations are about soul integration, about making whole the fragmented soul that has suffered trauma. This is also the aim of Shamanism.

It may require a bit of delving into journals but each experience was so profound that they are clearly documented.

  1. I hope this information helps. I had a dream where I needed to use a public bathroom and had to have a bowel movement in a stall that wasn’t completely private, with a toilet that moved back and forth:

Dreaming that you cannot find the bathroom means that you are have difficulties in releasing and expressing your emotions. Seeing a toilet in your dream, symbolizes a release of emotions or getting rid of something in your life that is useless. Seeing a clogged toilet in your dream means that you are holding in and keeping your feelings to yourself. Your emotions have been pent up too long. Seeing an overflowing toilet in your dream indicates your desires to fully express your emotions. Dreaming that you have a bowel movement means that you are successfully getting rid of your old habits/ways and thinking patterns. It is usually analogous to the release of strong emotions, such as anger and rage.

I get my dream interpretations from here: http://www.hyperdictionary.com/dream You type in one word, when the information comes up, scroll down to see if there is a dream interpretation for that word.

    • What I love about blogging is the willingness of others to share their views (and their toilet dreams) Thanks C Rae White for you comments. I think there’s definitely an emotional thing going on. I’ve let some of them out but still feeling a little fragile. Think I could use a good dump. Maybe I’ll get some help with this in circle tomorrow.

I had a look at your site. I can see your passion for fashion. Also spent ages reading your dreams pages. Glad to have met you. I’ll stay in touch.

  2. The poo in your dream may mean that you have something you need to get rid of, perhaps an unhealthy belief or emotion. You know it needs to be dumped but you seem to feel you need to hang on to it for others sake. You may feel that to let go of it would be more trouble than it’s worth. It may be a belief that you have that you find no longer helpful or valid but you are afraid others will ridicule your new beliefs if you are open about them. So you hold on to the old one to save face.
Poo may also indicate a monetary windfall also so you may find that windfall further off than you thought and not quite as stable as you would like it to be when you get there. You might find yourself backing out of financial investment on others advice.

  3. Thanks for you comments Nattietee. Ironically there are a few beliefs and behaviours that I’ve recognised are not serving me, but I’m having real difficulty letting go of them. I made a decision last week to let go of a situation and spent this week regretting it. I think I just need to stick with the original decision and stop the oscillation.

Also interestingly I had some unexpected money h yesterday. I made a mistake with the sums and it wasn’t as much as I originally thought. Your comment made me smile. You were spot on.

I had a look at your blog and like what you’re about. I will certainly be looking in often.
